DELIVERY SERVICES

            FREE DELIVERY within a 20 mile radius, with the exception of some clearance items and special promotional items. We use our own men, trucks and equipment.  We do not work through a “delivery service”, which means greater flexibility and personalization for you! The price you see in the showroom does not have any added delivery fees (unless you are out of our delivery market).  Please note that we will deliver out of state for a nominal fee.  On rare occasions we may charge for unconventional delivery situations (i.e. second floor window, porch deliveries …), as the time and manpower required is greater than anticipated.  While our delivery crew is well experienced, it is still the customer’s responsibility to be sure delivery entryways are suitable to accommodate the furniture that they purchase, and walkways are free and clear of ice and snow.

            FREE REMOVAL of your old furniture.  You won’t find this from our competitors!!  That’s right.  Our delivery crew will remove your old set, item for item, in exchange for what we deliver!  Sorry we can’t take more than we bring into your home, as we are limited for space on our truck as well as insurance and time restrictions.

            FREE SET-UP on all purchases.  Our delivery crew will place your furniture where you would like it with all furniture components in place (sorry, but we don’t install your personal electronics/televisions in any of our units as we prefer not to take the liability on them).  We do not deliver in boxes or cartons.  Every item is matched to your order, inspected for damages, and carefully wrapped in moving blankets and secured on our truck for delivery.

HOW WILL MY DELIVERY BE SCHEDULED?          
Delivery scheduling is designed to accommodate your schedule as best possible.  Core delivery dates are designated for Tuesdays (9-5) Thursdays (9-8:30) and Fridays  (9-5).  Upon request, we may be able to accommodate alternate delivery times, with advanced notice.  Our men do their best to be at your home within a pre-arranged two hour delivery window.  On occasion, a prior delivery may carry us over and cause unpreventable delays.  Our men are in constant communication with us via cell phones and whenever possible you will be notified of any delays.  Our men will call when on their way.  We would be happy to accommodate you with a 30min. pre-delivery notification, upon request, if you are not home and wish to meet us.

  

RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY

            At Spector Furniture our sales team will spend a lot of time and effort to be sure that the products you have ordered fit your needs.  We do understand that certain circumstances require adjustments and/or cancellations.  Please refer to the following situation that may apply for clarification.

SPECIAL ORDERS
     The manufacturers will not allow any changes or cancellations after a certain point in the ordering process.  Under no circumstance will the manufacturer restock any merchandise. Timely cancellations that are met prior to this “cutoff” time will be refunded in full. All cancelled orders after the “cutoff” date will be subject to restocking fees (up to 40%), handling and transportation fees. 

STOCK ITEMS
     Delivered stock items may be exchanged or cancelled within 7 days from purchase date.  A pickup/delivery fee may apply. Returns may be denied, or charges incurred if the furniture is returned in a different condition than was delivered (i.e., scratches, smoke …).  Bedding cannot be returned.

“TAKE WITH” ITEMS
     Items taken on “memo” (i.e. lamps, pictures, small accent tables …) can be returned within 5 business days with no costs incurred as long as the item(s) are returned in the same condition as when taken.  Deposits are required.

 

OUR PRICING/ PAYMENT PLAN

IS SPECTOR’S PRICING FAIR?
            So many products, so many prices.  Am I getting a good deal?  At Spector Furniture we don’t feel you should pay any more for the same product from someone else as you do through us, as long as the services offered are comparable.   As we carry a better quality of goods than many products on the market, there are sometimes similar products or “knockoffs” being advertised at lower products.  Buyer beware.  Always compare apples to apples.  Hidden costs, such as added delivery fees, no warranty coverage, are a common deception.  Spectors will meet or beat the pricing of any in state authorized dealer’s advertised price based on the same services/conditions that we offer.  Non-advertised price matches are based on verification and review. HOW DO I PAY?
            Spector Furniture has been doing it this way for 118 years. We keep it simple.  A 30%-50% deposit is required on all orders and the balance can be paid in 3 equal installments from delivery date (good credit required), or the balance can be paid prior to delivery. That’s right:  90 DAYS TO PAY – NO INTEREST from your delivery date. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, debit cards, as well as personal checks with a valid I.D.  Lay-a-way is also an option.  Please inquire for details.  
            For security reasons, we do not hold credit card information on your account.  Please be sure to provide your card numbers for each payment.  We will not automatically bill your credit card.    

PRIVACY
            Spector Furniture will not, under any condition, provide your personal information to any marketing companies or solicitors.  Your account information including addresses, phone numbers and purchases are kept in house and will be used solely for our own marketing events and billing purposes.
